Her Lens Her Story 1st Annual Photographers Exhibition
A few months ago someone tagged me to an opportunity to show my photographs. I jumped at the opportunity because it was located in Camden, Nj. Which was perfect for my 81 years old father to attend with a light 15 minute drive to the Photography JPEG Education Center and Gallery. Sponsored in collaboration with EJM foundation and Rowan University. Her Lens, Her Story exhibit curated by Photography major and now graduate of Rowan University, Dalila Velazquez Mendez. The event was handled with immense care participation. I especially loved to meet a fellow photographer (Eric James) who is participating in youth education opportunities and resources to enhance their skillsets and growth in a city that drastically needs a rebirth of the arts and education. I learned a lot in the experience as a teacher and a student. I look forward to continue showing the work of others and finding my new creative voice in exhibition and educational growth for others to find their photographic voice.
